The Model Folk

The Model Folk are a six piece band, hailing from the deepest darkest reaches of North Somerset. Their sound is an eclectic cocktail of influences fitting loosely in the folk canon, but full of self-deprecating humour, romance and pathos, created with clarinet wizardry, trumpets, trombones & accordion; topped off with epic harmonies. With influences from Zappa to Marley via John Martyn and Tom Waits, the band have played at Purbeck Valley, Folk on The Quay, Sidmouth and many more.
