Memories at the Barn

Our dementia projects are supported by The Quartet Community Foundation, The Grateful Society, Nailsea Town Council and Nailsea Folk Club and public donations. We are extremely appreciative for all the help we receive.

Nailsea Memory Cafe meets at the Barn on the first and third Wednesday of each month 2.15 pm onwards. There are activities for people with dementia and a carers discussion and support group. It is free of charge. Please contact Karen Smith our coordinator for more details: 07790 344559 or email

Silver Screen Memories, a free event, runs on the second Wednesday of each month from 2pm, showing film stars of the silver screen. Please contact Karen Smith, our co-ordinator for more information: 07790 344559 or email:

The Barn Owls choir meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 3pm-4:30pm. No particular skill is required, just a willingness to join in and the emphasis on having fun whilst singing together. For more information contact David Francis 07757 505551 or email

Music and Memories was started by Nailsea Folk Club in 2006 with the simple aim of sharing music and songs with people with dementia and their carers.  It is now run by Nailsea Tithe Barn Trust. It takes place in the Barn once a month on a Sunday afternoon between 2:30pm and 4.30pm. Contact David on 07757 505551 or email
