Friends of Nailsea Tithe Barn are a lively group of people with a special interest and commitment to the Barn. Many for our current Friends actively supported the project to restore the Tithe Barn from the outset. New Friends have joined since to demonstrate their support for this important community asset.
We meet socially once a month for 'Coffee with Friends'. Our activities vary with talks, films and visits to local places of interest. We are particularly interested in the Barn's history from its beginnings in 15th century, to the coming of Hannah More and its life as school for almost 200 years. Alongside this we have enjoyed visits to many places of interest over the years, including National Trust houses and gardens, snowdrop time at Painswick, St Fagans Museum of Welsh History and many more.
For an annual subscription of £10 per person Friends have opportunities to take part in a number of events during the year and in addition receive discounts on tickets for certain events at the Barn
